Pennsylvania American Water is embarking on the construction of approximately $3.2 million in improvements to its water treatment plant chemical facilities and intake system in White Township. This project represents a significant investment in our Indiana system. These improvements will improve the safety and reliability of the chemical handling and raw water intake systems at our Two Lick Creek Water Treatment Plant. Pennsylvania American Water is committed to investing prudently in its water and wastewater facilities. Pennsylvania American Water is making this investment to ensure that our drinking water continues to comply with all U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) drinking water standards. Project Schedule Pennsylvania American Water and its partner, Kukurin Contracting, started preconstruction activities in March 2017.
